KSN House Rules

To keep the club liveable and safe, the rules below have been drawn up, also contribute to this and you must adhere to the following rules:

  • Take the nature into account.

  • Pay attention to the weather conditions! Make sure you look beyond just the place where you practice your sport. Look at the national forecasts, watch the clouds, or ask fellow surfer / kiters for advice before you go out on the water.

  • Help others in an emergency! Providing help on the water to fellow surfers / kiters in an emergency is mandatory. If you are not able to help out, contact people who can do this as soon as possible.

  • Do not drink your own drinks on the terrace and in the clubhouse.

  • Keep our terrace and club house tidy, replace items and furniture back where they belong before you go home.

  • Dispose of your own waste.

  • Terrace furniture must be put back after use.

  • The BBQ must be cleaned after use by the last user.

  • Kitesurfers: wear a KSN lycra at all times (also when making a downwinder from / to the KSN) and conform to the KSN Kite Regulations.

  • Members may address each other if they do not follow the rules.

With the KSN lycra, local authorities can see that you are a trained kiter and that you belong to the KSN surfclub (For windsurfing, wave surfing or supping you don't have to wear one). It goes without saying that you must be able to practice your sport safely and independently. So make sure you have had enough lessons and are confident.
