The Sunday's

8-12 years

Welcome to the Sunday's junior, the best way to enjoy the sea and surf sports.

Sunday is there to introduce (children aged 8 to 12) to the various surf sports and related surf activities. Hopefully you will become as fanatic and passionate as we are.

In a playful manner, every weekend under supervision and enough voluntary parents are introduced to various surf sports, the sea and beach activities.

Groups & Times

From Saturday, June 29 to September 29, there are the Sunday's on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning (we start a little later this year due to the late delivery of the new clubhouse). The sessions always take place unless the weather conditions are too extreme. Note: Saturday July 13 is an open sundays with lots of fun and a children's surf market, for exchanging, offering and buying wetsuits, surfboards, bodyboards etc.

If you have successfully registered for the Sundays, you can register for the July sessions from 18 May 2019

Saturday afternoon

Session 1 Saturday afternoon: 2.30 pm (2.15 pm register on the beach) until 3.30 pm.

Sunday morning

Session 1 Sunday morning: 9:30 am (9:15 am register on the beach) to 10:30 am.
Session 2 Sunday morning: 11am (10.45am sign up on the beach) to 12pm.

Registration + Payment season 2020

You can sign up for the Sundays via the main menu of this site. You must be a member of the KSN to participate in the Sundays. This is possible for 1 season or for longer (see KSN membership).

The Sunday's costs 100 euros (in addition to the membership).

Help with the Sundays !!

With the Sunday's the help of parents is extra desirable. In the water and / or on the beach. We would love to hear if you want to actively help. sundays@ksnoordwijk.nl

What do we all do during a sunday !!

During the Sunday's we will introduce you to surfing, paddle boarding, kiting, boating, skimboarding, bodyboarding, wakeboarding and beach games! During the Sunday's we also pay a lot of attention to safety in and around the water; what to do with a mouse, let you know where you are, buddy system etc. The actual contents of the Sunday's on that day depend on the weather.

Cleaning up is also part of a real surfer

Cleaning up boards, suits, sails, kites and everything else is also a surfer's activity and is therefore part of the program. The last 5 minutes of the Sunday Session we clean up everything and close it together.

Safety

Swimming diplomas A & B are mandatory
A life jacket is compulsory for boating
If you have to leave earlier, or if you want to go to the clubhouse, you can sign off with your supervisor
The materials can only be used during the Sunday Sessions.
